Kristen Wicander '17 loves working with children.
For one year, she will teach children in La Rioja, Spain, as an English Teaching Assistant through the U.S. Fulbright program. "I absolutely love working with children, so I really can't wait to be working with Spanish children," she said.
Wicander, a psychology and Spanish major, also will teach social studies, science and American culture to children between the ages of 6-12. Afterwards, she wants to apply for other English Teaching Assistant programs in South America and attend graduate school to become a school psychologist.
