Art, Music and Theater Performances

Theater Technician is required. Hourly rates are added on to the price of this facility use with a 4 hour minimum. Additional professional tech help may be needed and fees will be added based on hours worked. 

The Olin Gallery is a contemporary exhibition space ideal for art shows, receptions, lectures, presentations and special events. Featuring an open floor plan, professional gallery lighting and flexible layouts, the space offers a distinctive setting for gatherings that inspire creativity, conversation and community engagement.

The Smoyer Gallery offers a striking setting for exhibitions, receptions, lectures, meetings and special events. Featuring upper and lower gallery spaces, abundant natural light and flexible layouts, the venue can accommodate a variety of event formats while showcasing artwork, presentations or displays in a professional and inviting environment.

The Olin Green Room provides a comfortable, private space for performers, speakers and event participants before and during an event. Furnished with lounge seating and dressing amenities, the room is ideal as a backstage preparation area, hospitality suite or wedding party changing room.

The Olin Studio Theater is a flexible black box performance space designed for theater productions, rehearsals, workshops, lectures and special events. With customizable staging and seating configurations, the venue can be adapted to meet a variety of creative and event needs.

This outdoor amphitheatre is a charming, grassy outdoor performance space with a carpet of emerald grass and rolling brick walls that provide theater-style seating. Nestled between Olin Hall and Antrim Chapel, it is an enchanting location for any number of different event types. 
 

Roanoke College's Back Quad is a large, flat, grassy expanse framed by mature trees and beautiful red brick buildings, including the historic Sections dorms and the Alumni Gym. It features a raised stage for performances and offers ample space and excellent accessibility for your guests. Not available during academic terms.

The newly renovated Cavern, our college's casual dining venue, features bright, modern decor, big windows overlooking the athletic fields, and diner-style seating, all in a space that opens up to a beautiful brick patio with an eye-popping view of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
