Our event spaces include Colket Center for meetings and gatherings, Cregger Center for larger conferences and events, Monterey House for receptions and special functions, and classrooms across campus for workshops, lectures, and breakout sessions.

Ballroom
Our elegant ballroom, one of the largest event spaces on campus, is located in the Colket Student Center and can accommodate large meetings, lectures, weddings, parties, and more.

Cregger Arena
Cregger Arena is a premier large-capacity venue designed for conferences, expos, ceremonies, presentations, and other large-scale events. Flexible layouts and expansive floor space make it ideal for gatherings that need room to grow.

Bast Gym
You can almost hear the squeak of sneakers on wooden floorboards and feel the excitement of past celebrations when you step inside Bast Gymnasium, a large-capacity space suitable for events such as dances and team-building retreats. $800 set-up fee applies.

Antrim Chapel
It's hard to overstate the beauty and warmth of Antrim Chapel, which has been the setting for so many wonderful celebrations over the years. From musical performances to weddings, the chapel has seen countless milestones in the life of the Roanoke College community.

Colket 1st Floor Atrium
The spacious First Floor Atrium is located at the heart of the Colket Student Center, which is just off the lush, tree-lined Back Quad. This space features graceful columns and a two-story ceiling with views of the upper level and proximity to dining spaces and meeting rooms makes it a perfect space for a check-in table for your participants.

Colket 2nd Floor Atrium
Our Second Floor Atrium, located outside Wortmann Ballroom with wide-open views of the atrium below, is the perfect space to mingle, network and enjoy delicious hors d'oeuvres and drinks.

Patterson Meeting Room
Located inside the Colket Student Center, the Patterson Meeting Room accommodates up to 50 people, but tables can also be arranged in a U or square shape to facilitate collaboration and discussion among smaller groups. Patterson offers A/V capability.

Pickle Lounge
Pickle Lounge is one of the larger meeting spaces inside the Colket Student Center, and it is where the college Board of Trustees chooses to meet several times a year. Tucked in a corner of the ground floor yet just across the atrium from the Commons dining room, Pickle offers privacy, convenience and full A/V functionality.

This space on the upper level of the Colket Student Center can accommodate a large business meeting or small reception. It boasts a full technology setup and frosted doors for privacy and focus, and it is located just upstairs from campus amenities like the Commons dining room and Campus Store.

Cregger Foyer
One of the newest gems in Roanoke's event-hosting crown, the Cregger Center Atrium is a large, modern space framed by a wall of glass doors on one side and large television screens on the other. Located on the ground level, this space is easily accessible and features quick access to the gymnasium and elevators, as well as a concession stand.

Cavern
The newly renovated Cavern, our college's casual dining venue, features bright, modern decor, big windows overlooking the athletic fields, and diner-style seating, all in a space that opens up to a beautiful brick patio with an eye-popping view of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Designed for productive conversations and collaborative learning, Lucas Library is a versatile meeting space ideal for small conferences, breakout sessions, workshops and professional development events.

Monterey Meeting Room
If you want the beauty and charm of a 19th-century Greek Revival-style living room alongside the functionality of a meeting space with ample seating, the Monterey Living Room will fit the bill. Chilly outside? Grab the fireplace remote and click on the gas logs to give your event added warmth and ambiance.

PLACE
The newly refurbished PLACE Meeting Room inside Fowler House boasts a fireplace, large windows and colorful, contemporary furnishings.

Commons Back Room
The Commons Back Room is conveniently located within the campus dining hall and is equipped with all technology needed to provide a meal-time meeting space.

Classrooms
Our campus is home to a variety of indoor classroom spaces located in either historic academic buildings like West Hall or modern facilities like the Cregger Center or McConnon Discovery Center. These range in size, accommodating anywhere from six to 60 guests.
