Campus Jobs

Roanoke provides approximately 300 employment opportunities for students on campus, with positions ranging from office assistants to grounds crew and cafeteria staff.

Some of these positions qualify for internships, such as work in the accounting, computer service and public relations departments. Campus employment has a number of benefits: It can help defray a portion of your college costs; it can give you an opportunity for firsthand career experience; and it looks great on your resume, as employers see campus employment as a sign of a strong work ethic.

Not all positions go to students with financial need. Some are filled by students with a strong academic or career interest in the work of the department they serve.
