Payment
All holds on a student account must be cleared with the appropriate office before classes begin. Deadlines for summer session payments to be made to the Business Office are:
- Early Summer Session: May 11, 2026
- Summer Session I: June 1, 2026
- Summer Session II: June 29, 2026
- Summer Session III: June 1, 2026
Withdrawals and Refunds
Roanoke College has a withdrawal/refund policy. The date of withdrawal used to calculate refunds is the date the student last attended class, as recorded by the Registrar's Office. If an enrolled student withdraws from the college for any reason other than physical disability before the 60% point of the period of enrollment, the college will calculate a refund for the proportionate share of the fee using calendar days and prorate it based on the student’s withdrawal date.
For a medical withdrawal due to physical reasons — where the student is physically disabled for the remainder of the term, as determined by a certified, licensed physician or the Director of College Health Services — a refund is calculated based on the unused portion of total fees (pro-rated for the entire length of the term).
