Celebrate Arbor Day & Earth Day with us while learning more about the vibrant ecosystem on our campus! We'll gather at Monterey House and take a walking tour of some of Roanoke College's most interesting trees — from the Osage orange, a species so old that its fruits were once eaten by woolly mammoths, to a set of sycamores grown from the seeds of a tree that "witnessed" the first battle of the Civil War.
