The Constitution Day speaker will be Robert Fabrikant, who is senior counsel at the law firm of Manatt, Phelps, & Phillips LLP. A graduate of Georgetown University Law Center, Fabrikant served as a law clerk to Chief Justice Warren Burger of the United States Supreme court. He is also a professor of practice at Howard University School of Law and has taught as an adjunct professor at Georgetown University Law Center; the University of Southern California Gould School of Law; Fudan University School of Law in Shanghai, China; the National University of Singapore Faculty of Law; and the Transnational Law and Business University in Seoul, South Korea.
The lecture is part of Roanoke College’s Constitution Day celebration, which is sponsored by The Law Firm: Woods Rogers Vandeventer Black,
and the Turk Pre-Law Program.
