
Juneteenth Celebration

In 2020, Roanoke College officially recognized Juneteenth for the first time in the College’s history. The College is acknowledging and celebrating Juneteenth again this year with a Juneteenth Celebration and Cookout for faculty, staff, and students.
The event will be held in Wortmann Ballroom in the Colket Center from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. This event is sponsored by the Office of Community, Diversity & Inclusion, the Center for Spiritual Life and Campus Ministries, and the Center for Studying Structures of Race.
