An exclusive preview of legendary filmmaker Ken Burns' latest work, "The American Revolution," will set the stage for a thoughtful conversation with historians Rob Willingham and Garrett Channell.

Willingham is an associate professor of history at Roanoke College who has led numerous teach-ins about complex, world-changing events. Channell is executive director of the Salem Museum and is spearheading the community's work with VA250, Virginia's commission commemorating the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution.
This event, which coincides with Veterans Day, is open to Roanoke College students, faculty and staff.
It will include a viewing of exclusive clips from Burns' upcoming PBS documentary series, "The American Revolution," which examines how America’s founding turned the world upside-down.
