Human Services Studies Program
Equity. Service. Systemic Change.
The Human Services Studies (HSRV) program empowers students to become compassionate, knowledgeable, and ethical professionals dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and communities. Rooted in an interdisciplinary liberal arts education, the program integrates perspectives from sociology, psychology, public health, disability studies, anthropology, public policy, business, and criminal justice.
Through rigorous coursework, experiential learning, and community engagement, students develop the skills and insight needed to address complex social challenges and advocate for society’s most vulnerable populations. The program prepares graduates for impactful careers and advanced study in human services and related fields, fostering a lifelong commitment to equity, service, and systemic change. Opportunities for internships, community engagements, independent research, and study away allow students to apply their learning beyond the classroom. Human Services students graduate with the tools to make meaningful contributions to their communities and the world.
