While dining with us
The community nature of a college dining hall is unique. We want you to feel like you are at home; however, there is still a restaurant atmosphere present. Guests who are dining with us must cooperate with others in maintaining a clean and pleasant environment. We ask for your help in keeping our Commons a great place to eat and just hang out.
Meal plan participants are required to present a valid RC ID upon entry to the Commons, as the ID carries your meal plan information. You will be denied entry if you do not have your ID with you. Students who allow others to use their RC ID will have their card confiscated and be subject to college disciplinary measures.
Removal of food or property from Sutton Commons
No food may be taken out of the dining hall except for items presented in disposable containers at specialty stations or one item that is an approved "snack" item. Snack items include whole pieces of fruit, ice cream novelties, soft serve cones, cookies, or cookie bars.
Plates, glasses, silverware, trays, and other dining service property may not be removed from the dining hall.
Anyone violating this policy will be subject to discipline by the Office of the Dean of Students.
