Ongoing: Volunteer Scribes Needed at Bradley Free Clinic
Scribes at the Bradley Free Clinic work alongside volunteer physicians, physician assistants, nurse practioners, and other professional volunteers to document patient care within the Electronic Health Records (ERH). This is an opportunity to learn how to use ERH while working alongside a variety of specialists. Scribing at Bradley includes training, flexible scheduling, a variety of clinical experiences, and the opportunity to give back to the local community. Ongoing: Health Professions Scholarship Program (US Army)
Scholarships are available for students during graduate study in medicine, dentistry, optometry, clinical or counseling psychology, or veterinary medicine. This program covers 100% of the tuition, reimbursement for books, and a monthly stipend. Upon completion of specialized training and entry into the Army, you will be a commissioned officer and will work as a member of a professional team in state-of-the-art facilities along with substantial benefits. Cancer Prevention Summer Research Program
The Cancer Prevention Research Training Program (CPRTP) Summer Research Program is funded by a grant award from the National Cancer Institute-NCI (R25 CA056452, Dr. Shine Chang, Principal Investigator). Our program awards paid summer internships to undergraduate, graduate, and health professional students interested in cancer prevention research.

The Summer Health Professions Education Program (SHPEP) is a free summer program for first and second year students to explore their interests in medicine, dentistry, nursing, optometry, pharmacy, physical therapy, public health, and more. The program takes place at our partner institutions and offers students a chance to develop competencies for becoming successful applicants to health profession programs, plan academic journeys, get clinical exposure, and network.

Health Professions Readiness Education Program
HealthPREP is an eight-week program facilitated by Emory University School of Medicine (EUSOM) and Rollins School of Public Health (RSPH). The overall purpose of the HealthPREP is to facilitate the entry of qualified students into health-related graduate and professional schools. HealthPREP is open to undergraduate and graduate scholars interested in pursuing a career within the health professions (ex. medicine, physician assistant, anesthesiology assistant, genetic counseling, physical therapy, radiologic technologist, and public health) who identify as being from a first-generation college-attending and/or low-income background.

Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences Undergraduate Summer Internship
The USU Summer Scholars Program is a 10-week training program that provides unique exposure to basic and clinical research, social/behavioral research, health policy, and research administration to high-school and college students.
Every year, students collaborate with research mentors across all of the USU research departments. Past students have explored the participating departments of Anatomy and Physiology, Pharmacology and Therapeutics, Microbiology, and Immunology. Those students interested in medicine have explored the participating departments of Psychiatry, Pathology, the Graduate Student Nursing Program, Preventative Medicine and Biostatistics, and the National Center for Disaster Medicine and Public Health.
Throughout this experience, you will participate closely with a USUHS Faculty mentor and their research to conduct a scientific investigation in a military-relevant research focus area. You will have the opportunity to attend or participate in the scientific and professional development seminars, field trips, laboratory experiments and observations, and research planning meetings. At the conclusion of the program, you will prepare and present abstracts on your research at the annual USU Summer Scholars poster symposium.
