In the 2024-25 school year, Roanoke College awarded $36 million in financial aid, yet only $3.6 million of that was funded through the college endowment. What might that support look like with a larger endowment?
The fall 2025 issue of Roanoke College Magazine takes a look at just that with its cover story, "Generations Ahead." As Roanoke aims to triple its endowment over the next five years to bolster student financial aid, Maroon alumni and family share what motivates them to give back -- and why they think it's important for other alumni to do the same.
