At this time of year, it's not just the graduating seniors who are saying goodbye and heading off in new directions. Several long-time faculty and staff members are retiring. As a group, they have served Roanoke for 243 years!

Dr. Mamie Patterson 1921-2015

Dr. Mamie Salva' Patterson died May 11 at the age of 93. Patterson was a retired professor of Spanish. Alumni remember Patterson as a challenging but caring professor.
