In its latest college guide, The Princeton Review ranked Roanoke 10th in the nation for Best Athletic Facilities. The school also continued to make the list of great places for business/finance majors and psychology majors.

Roanoke was listed in the 2025 edition of the Princeton Review’s “The Best 390 Colleges,” receiving special recognition for its athletic facilities, town/gown relations, psychology program and business/finance program. 

 In her new role, Dani Moore will support Roanoke students and develop programs to ensure their success.

Roanoke also is adding a military support and recruiting position to ensure veterans a successful transition and educational experience.  

Melanie Almeder, a member of Roanoke’s Department of English and Communication Studies, this year has received three honors related to her teaching and poetry. 

TRC’s production of “Mac Beth” received national recognition from the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival. 

The Blue Ridge Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) recognized Roanoke College with two awards at the 27th annual Summit Awards.

The awards, which are based on community nominations, recognize exceptional service over the past calendar year.

James Suleyman ’24 and Associate Professor Daisy Ball co-authored a research paper, published in the journal “Laws,” about the 2023 shooting at The Covenant School in Nashville.

G. Samantha Rosenthal, a member of the History Department at Roanoke, offered expertise on the importance of protecting historically queer gathering spaces.
