New experiences and perspectives await Rebecca Dance '23 as she prepares to spend a year abroad teaching.

The fellowship will allow Professor Flores-Silva to dedicate a semester to cross-cultural teaching, writing and community building.

Jonnel Lewis ’23 is the 16th Roanoke College student to earn one of the prestigious scholarships offered by the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.

Serayna Green and Molly Scheerer are pursuing studies in Asia and Europe, and continue Roanoke College’s legacy of students earning competitive scholarships.

The history major has spent the past year in Taiwan and is looking forward to extending her stay.

Her experience working with students with developmental disabilities is particularly impressive.

The award will help Kyle Grohbrugge ‘20 pursue her physical therapy degree.

Both students hope to learn about the business world in their programs.

Gracie Goodpasture’s interest in sustainability and farm-to-table education allowed her to be selected for this prestigious program.
