Members of the Class of 2020 are now officially Roanoke College alumni.

The Class of 2020 degree conferral ceremony marks a historic time at the College, with most students completing their studies at home, online, in the midst of a worldwide pandemic. 

Their patience and compassion made a tough time a little easier.

Updates about Roanoke graduates Brenda Prieto Velazquez ’17, Dr. Sade Younger ’08, the Honorable Sarah A. Rice ’79 and David M. Forbes ’82.

Thanks to a family connection and an ability to form tight relationships, this Maroon was able to sign the most sought-after college football player of the year.

All of us at Roanoke College are working to prepare for an on-time, on-campus start in August. 

Athletes remain motivated even with seasons canceled.

Students are still getting good jobs and graduate school placements while working remotely.

Bachelor of arts, bachelor of science and bachelor of business administration degrees will be conferred on the Class of 2020 in a Facebook Live broadcast.
