Through the Mail Art Project, on display Oct. 24 through Dec. 5, Roanoke has received art from such places as Japan, Serbia, and South Africa. 

For the fourth time in recent years, Roanoke College is ranked among the nation's top Up and Coming National Liberal Arts Colleges.

This year's Power in the Spirit conference includes keynote speakers Bishop Elizabeth Eaton and the Rev. Rolf Jacobson, music and small group workshops. 

Bowman Hall, set for demolition in June, was built on land given to the college by Alpheus Boeman Jr., a 1906 graduate and a longtime member of Roanoke's Board of Trustees. 

Each fall and spring, Elderscholar participants come to campus to hear weekly lectures given by members of Roanoke's faculty. 

Bowman Hall will be demolished in June. Other contruction includes underground utility work, grading for new parking and changes at Kerr Stadium.
