The main floor will have a completely new layout that will include spcific zones for learning as well as expanded seating in the CUPS cafe are, up-to-date technology and new carpet, paint and lighting. 

This year's Power in the Spirit conference includes keynote speakers Bishop Elizabeth Eaton and the Rev. Rolf Jacobson, music and small group workshops. 

Bowman Hall, set for demolition in June, was built on land given to the college by Alpheus Boeman Jr., a 1906 graduate and a longtime member of Roanoke's Board of Trustees. 

Each fall and spring, Elderscholar participants come to campus to hear weekly lectures given by members of Roanoke's faculty. 

Bowman Hall will be demolished in June. Other contruction includes underground utility work, grading for new parking and changes at Kerr Stadium.
