Empower Student Changemakers
We mentor and support the next generation of community health leaders. Our student researchers contribute meaningfully to our work—and go on to do great things.
- Students from a broad array of academic disciplines engage in all phases of community-level health strategy development, managing large datasets, like the Roanoke Valley Community Healthy Living Index, and catalyzing impactful community change.
- Students present their research in local, national, and international forums and have published their work in respected journals.
- Center staff maintain active international research agendas at the forefront of undergraduate research mentorship to ensure student experiences are supportive and meaningful.
