Students and alumni from the public policy program can level up their careers at the UVA Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy. Roanoke applicants automatically qualify for a generous, five-figure fellowship to pursue a master's of public policy at the prestigious institution.

How does it work?
Roanoke students and alumni accepted into the Master of Public Policy program automatically qualify for an annual fellowship of at least $12,500 for Virginia residents and $20,000 for non-residents. The fellowship is awarded for both years of the program, provided students maintain good academic standing. In their second year, students can also earn additional assistantships, fellowships and other awards.
The Master of Public Policy is a two-year, full-time program consisting of 11 courses and an internship between the first and second year.
What are the requirements?
Applicants must come from Roanoke College's public policy program and must meet all UVA admissions requirements.
GRE scores and application fees are waived as part of the process.
How do I apply?
Interested students and alumni should apply through the Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy. Applications open in September, followed by three rounds of admission.
