Internships

Overview

A number of different programs manage their internships under the Pathways program, which simply means that they follow best practices for meaningful internship experiences—including learning agreements, ongoing guided reflection, and participating in a showcasing event. Within these programs, a faculty member serves as the Internship Coordinator, supervising all interns for the department and developing and supporting relationships with internship sites. Pathways support includes a budget for developing and maintaining relationships with internship sites, and students may apply for funding to help cover costs associated with the internship (e.g., gas money).  Additional information can be found here.
