Check Self-Service Regularly: Students must monitor and resolve holds before semester check-in and pre-registration.
Balance Hold: Accounts owing over $250 will incur a financial hold.
Registration Blocked: A financial hold will prevent semester check-in, new course registration, and schedule changes.
Late Penalty: Unresolved balances after the first week of class will incur a $100 late fee.
GI Benefits Exception: For students utilizing GI benefits, Roanoke College does not impose any penalty, including assessing late fees, denial of access to classes, libraries, or school facilities, or require the student to borrow additional funds due to the inability to meet their financial obligations to the institution as a result of delayed payments for education assistance under Chapter 31, 33, or 35 unless the student is less than 100% covered.
