Pausanias was a Greek living under the Roman Empire in the second century when he visited the sites of his homeland’s past glory and wrote a rich travelogue. Students will walk in the footsteps of Pausanias, a journey through the storied streets of Athens, Sparta, Corinth, Olympia, and Delphi among other historically important sites. Knowledge of Greek language not required.
