The pool located in Alumni 212 is 25 yards in length and has 3 lanes. It offers regular open swim hours for the campus community and hosts some academic classes as well as kayak and paddleboard clinics. The pool is also used by the College's swim team as a practice facility and by other athletic teams and student organizations. A certified lifeguard is on-duty whenever the pool is open for use.
The Aquatics program offers swim lessons for the campus community. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. A certified lifeguard will work with swimmers in a 1:1 or 1:2 ratio to ensure participants are getting the individualized attention and instruction they need.
Each lesson lasts one hour and covers skills in a progressive manner. Skills include water acclimation and safety, movement and strokes, as well as breathing and stamina.
